Recipes for this Week:
Home-Style Potato Rolls (P. 218)
Chickpea Cutlets (P. 133)
Tomato-Rice and Navy Bean Soup (P. 137)
Berry-Coconut Crisp (P. 248)
Tomorrow night I’ll probably make the Tomato-Rice and Navy Bean Soup because I LOVE SOUP! And also it’s fast. I’ll make all the rest on Saturday or Sunday night and update then. Can’t wait to fill my self with more delicious treats.

Tired. Cannot Function.
I’m so tired and weary from a good four hours of cooking food. At least I’ll have munchies for the next couple of days. What I’m trying to say is

I’m awesome.

Green…again? Lol. Everything I have posted today has been green. I swear I did not plan this. Regardless, it’s still pretty and delicious.
Extremely savory soup between the potatoes and broccoli, but the fresh mint and dill make you think you’re eating spring time. It’s awesome. I started around 6:35 and got done at 7:10ish, so it took way less time than I anticipated. And oh my gosh is it worth it. I was so excited to eat it I burnt my tongue. I regret nothing.

So. Much. Broccoli.

Another green one! Because of the parsley and scallions.
Freaking delicious. I’ve never had homemade hummus. Now I know how wrong I’ve been for eating anything else. It’s creamy and lemony and garlicy and everything good in the world. Once again, so easily made. And I have like, four gallons of this stuff. It made so much. I might explode from too much hummus.

It tastes nothing like I thought it would. It tastes better!
The nutty taste of the cashews makes it seems almost cheesy and the spinach and asparagus are heavenly. It was SUPER easy to make too. I might have to make this all the time now. (:

So.
I’m going to try to fit making three things from the Veganomicon in today.
Two dips: Asparagus-Spinach Dip, because my sister has been bugging me for a vegan spinach dip when we have game night, and Cauliflower Hummus for Samantha who shares my love of all things hummus.
One soup: Broccoli-Potato Soup for myself. Two of my favorite things in soup, which is my favorite thing to eat.
Check my other blog for pictures and stories later tonight.

Finally,
It begins.

Decision Made.
So I’m officially starting a blog that deals with me cooking (hopefully) delicious vegan food. I just received the Veganomicon which I’ve wanted for quite awhile now and as I flip through the pages my mind and stomach are inspired. Though I’m pretty busy with school, I will try to make as many dishes as possible on the weekends and throughout the week (though those will be more scarce).
I’ll start next weekend, yay. (:
